UL – ISP Licence
Under Data Services the operators can provide INTERNET and INTERNET Telephony services. The area of operation is defined by the category of the licence that has been applied for – Category A, B or C.
- Category A – National-level Operations (Pan-India Circle)
- Category B – State-level Operations (incl. Mumbai & Delhi Circles)
- Category C – SSA-level Operations (Telecom District Circle)
The fee details are given below:
ISP Licence – Category A
- This is for PAN-INDIA Operations
- FEE STRUCTURE FOR CATEGORY ‘A’
- Application Processing Fee – Rs.50 Thousand (Non- Refundable)
- Entry Fee – Rs.30 Lakhs (Non- Refundable)
- Performance Bank Guarantee – Rs.40 Lakhs
- Financial Bank Guarantee – Rs.2 Lakhs

ISP Licence – Category B
- This is for STATE-WIDE Operations
- FEE STRUCTURE FOR CATEGORY ‘B’
- Application Processing Fee – Rs.15 Thousand (Non-Refundable)
- Entry Fee – Rs.2 Lakhs (Non-Refundable)
- Performance Bank Guarantee – Rs.2 Lakhs
- Financial Bank Guarantee – Rs.20 Thousand

- This is for SECONDARY SWITCHING AREA (SSA) Operations
- FEE STRUCTURE FOR CATEGORY ‘C’

- Entry Fee – Rs. 20 Thousand (Non-Refundable)
- Performance Bank Guarantee – Rs. 10 Thousand
- Financial Bank Guarantee – Rs. 2 Thousand
